Located 33 km from Porto de Galinhas, Praia de Calhetas sits in the municipality of Cabo de Santo Agostinho and offers a landscape unlike the rest of the coastline. Rocky formations and dense vegetation create a natural refuge by the sea — and when seen from above, the cove forms a shape many people compare to a heart. It’s an excellent day-trip option for those looking to vary their itinerary, with straightforward logistics and plenty of free time to enjoy the beach.

Itinerary Departure between 8:00 and 8:30 AM from your hotel in Porto de Galinhas. The drive to Cabo takes approximately 40 minutes.

1st stop — Vila de Nazaré: visit to the Cabo de Santo Agostinho viewpoint and the Igreja de Nazaré, dating from 1597. Optional paid activities are available on site: clay bath, 200 m zip line ending in the water (with views of Gaibu and the Enseada dos Corais), boat rental, jet ski, and banana boat.

Praia de Calhetas: free time at the beach until approximately 3:00 PM. The beach is surrounded by rocks and has calm waters — ideal for relaxing at your own pace.

Return: around 4:00 PM, with arrival at the hotel depending on traffic.

The zip line is an optional activity paid directly on site (approximately R$ 25–30 per person). Two people can ride together if their combined weight does not exceed 160 kg. Helmet and life jacket are provided.
The zip line may be suspended in case of rain, strong winds, or adverse weather conditions.
We recommend swimwear, sunscreen, and closed-toe shoes for the Vila de Nazaré stop.
During high season, arriving early is recommended to secure a good spot on the beach.
