This tour combines two of Pernambuco’s most important destinations in a single day: Recife and Olinda. The first part is urban and historical — streets, squares, and markets. The second is colonial and panoramic — cobblestone hills, centuries-old churches, and sea views. The itinerary mixes walking sections with vehicle transfers, at a relaxed pace that allows time for photos, exploration, and enjoyment without rushing.

Itinerary Departure between 8:00 and 8:40 AM from your hotel in Porto de Galinhas.

Recife (morning): The first stop is at Boa Viagem Beach — time to take in the view and get some photos. From there, the tour heads to Recife Antigo: the Marco Zero, Rua do Bom Jesus, and the Casa da Cultura — a 19th-century former prison transformed into a craft center, with over 150 shops occupying the original cells. The morning ends with a free stop for lunch or shopping at the craft market.

Olinda (afternoon): The second part of the day is dedicated to Olinda, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The route takes in the famous historic cobblestone hills, local craft shops, the Catedral da Sé with its panoramic view, the Alto da Sé, the Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Misericórdia, the Mercado da Ribeira, and the Igreja e Mosteiro de São Bento.

Return: Around 4:00 PM, departure from Olinda back to Porto de Galinhas. Arrival at your hotel between 5:00 and 5:30 PM, depending on traffic.
